Create Linkable Assets

Linkable assets are pages that naturally attract backlinks due to their value and relevance. This is sometimes referred to as “link bait .”

Linkable assets include resources such as detailed guides, infographics, and original research.

Use Backlink Analytics to find out what type of content gets links.

Enter the client’s domain and click ” Analyze “.

You’ll see a lot of details about that competitor’s backlink profile. But we want to head over to the ” Indexed Pages ” tab. 

Here you’ll see a list of pages on your competitor’s site that have backlinks. Sorted by the number of referring domains (the number of unique websites that link to that page). 

Click the icon next to a page URL to see the content that is receiving those backlinks.

This gives you an idea of ​​the type of content that is getting links to that competitor’s website, which you can use as inspiration to create similar but better versions to build backlinks to your own site.

Step 6: Find and address technical issues

Technical SEO involves making technical changes to your website that make it easier for search engines to discover, understand, and store your content. It improves user experience.

That means building up relevant, high-quality backlinks over time, while maintaining the backlinks you already have.

Next, go to the “ Lost & Found ” tab to see your site’s new, broken, and lost backlinks.

Getting new backlinks indicates that you are making progress.

If you find broken or lost backlinks, you will need to take steps to recover them.
